The Vagina Monologues is made up of a varying number of monologues read by a cast of local of women. Every monologue relates the spectrum of experiences women experience, be it love, intimacy, and birth or sexual and intimate partner violence. A recurring theme throughout the piece is the vagina as a tool of female empowerment, and the ultimate embodiment of individuality.  | Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is based on the old saying that you don’t know what someone has been through until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® asks men to literally walk one mile in women's high-heeled shoes. It's not easy walking in these shoes, but it's fun and it gets the community to talk about something that's really difficult to discuss: sexual violence.  |
