24-Hour HotlineOur 24-hour crisis hotline is staffed by trained sexual assault advocates. Callers can receive crisis intervention counseling, support, and referrals by calling 225.383.RAPE. Individual SupportSexual assault survivors are eligible for up to 10 free individual sessions with a rape crisis advocate. For an appointment call the office at 225.389.3456. Support GroupsSupport groups for survivors of sexual assault are held on an as needed basis. Please contact the office for information on support group availability and meeting dates. | Medical AdvocacyAdvocates are available on a 24-hour basis to provide support to sexual assault survivors during forensic medical exams. Courtroom AdvocacyAdvocates are available to provide support to survivors during criminal justice proceedings. Outreach & EducationSTAR provides community outreach and education programs to increase awareness of sexual violence. All services are free and confidential. |
